Rickmansworth historically was the home of many breweries and water plants owing to the fresh clean water from the chalk streams- result many great pubs & eateries!

Rickmansworth boasts three of the UKs best golf venues- Moor Park, Batchworth and Rickmansworth.... All within walking distance of the station,

The jewel in the crown of Rickmansworth is no doubt the fact that we have a set of hardworking volunteers who not only keep the Grand Union Canal looking fabulous, they also run regular trips on The Pride of Batchworth and have developed an edcuation programme called Learning at the Lock.

Also on offer for children is the miniature canal system where children can have a go at opening and closing tiny lock gates.

On a lovely sunny afternoon, it is great to sit out at Cafe @ Lock 81 and enjoy their wonderful home made food, or just partake of a cup of tea.

The Pride of Batchworth can be hired out for private parties too - a really different way to spend quality time with your friends.

Not many towns have their own Morris side - but we do!  Phoenix Morris are great supporters of Rickmansworth & local charities.

This medieval barn was built in 1398 and is not a tithe barn but one that was owned by the Bishop of St Albans and used to store grain for the use of the diocese

Is a nature reserve with two lakes where you can water ski, sail & kayak.Great cycling and walking routes too.  Then have a rest at the Cafe in the Park.

We are quite sure that you have some fantastic photos and videos of Rickmansworth that you would like to share - please contact us and send them through, and we will add them to our gallery.
