Christmas Evening 2016

For many years Rickmansworth celebrated the start of the festive season with the Victorian Evening.  In 2014 Rickmansworth Town Team CIC took over the organisation of the Christmas Evening from Rickmansworth Chamber - briefly rebranded as the Starlight Evening or the Christmas Evening/Winter Fair

This is a chance for the whole community to come together and celebrate what is good about Rickmansworth.  There is something for everyone!  For more detail on the evening’s events and how you can get involved, hire a stall, join the parade, book a slot on the stage or simply just come along...

Rickmansworth Folk Festival

After the successful first Folk Festival, Rickmansworth Town Team will again be hosting a festival in July 2015.  We offer this as as a FREE event for the town.  In the evening folk Star Julie Feliix will once again be entertaining us.(the evening event is charged event)

We want to show people just how great Rickmansworth is.

We have lots of ideas - but it all takes a lot of organising.  We always need help, however little time you can offer, we will be REALLY grateful!

Some of the events that we would like to organise are:  a regular town market, an annual business conference, a food festival, a festival of literature and poetry..... What would you like to see?  In addition we want to be able to support and help promote all the other fantastic events that are already on offer in the town such as The Christmas Evening previously organised by Rickmansworth Chamber of Commerce, The Rickmansworth Festival organised by Rickmansworth Waterways Trust, Ricky Week organised by Rickmansworth Society and the Rickmansworth Young Musician of the Year organised by Rickmansworth & Chorleywood Rotary Club and the Three Rivers Music Society.

We hosted our first market in 2015 with great successt!

However, we have been unable to settle on another date with France at Home who run the successful markets in Chorleywood and in Abbots Langley.  We will be looking to restart a regular market in the town over the next few months, but we want to get it right! So…. Bear with us, it will be back.
